Backend engineer with 9+ years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems, real-time APIs, and distributed infrastructure. Currently at Trendyol (Alibaba Group), building and operating high-throughput search infrastructure that powers the search experience with 100M+ daily requests, backed by ML-assisted personalization pipelines.

Open-source contributor to Elasticsearch — identified and fixed a production-critical bug in the suggestion module and submitted the patch upstream. Built a key-value database from scratch in Go with B+ trees, WAL, bloom filters, and hash-based partitioning to deeply understand database internals.

Previously co-founded Ideas Software, a restaurant automation platform used by 100+ businesses — handling POS, mobile apps, and ERP integrations with Trendyol, Yemeksepeti, and Netsis.
